Birthday and Dentist

Kyrah went to the dentist for the first time on Tuesday 11/16. She has been complaining about her teeth hurting and always points to the same spot, so I thought we better make sure there are no cavities. I was so proud of her, she did awsome!! She let the dentist clean her teeth with the polish and even did the suction thing. It was amazing how good she did. And happy to report no cavities, just some iritated gums - not much to do about it except orajel. She got two prizes for being so good!

On Kyrah's actual birthday the 12th, I brought her bounce house out to daycare and we had a mini party. The kids LOVED it and were very sad to see it go.

They also played with bubbles when they were waiting for their turn to bounce.

Look at that hair!

Jonah #3

At a recent outdoor city festival (maybe 2-3 weeks ago) a local pet store was giving away "free" fish. So of course they see me walking with my 3 kids and pounce on us. Needless to say we went home with a "free" goldfish, a $7 bowl, $2.00 bag of rocks, $1.00 plastic vine and $4.00 fish food. We get home and put the fish in his new home. Four hour later he is dead, floating at the top of the bowl. Luckily Kyrah did not get attached to the fish and in fact never even remembered she had one because I flushed him and removed the bowl before she could look at it again.

This past weekend, 11/6 we went to the Fall Festival at the local school where they have games for kids to play. One of the games was to throw a ping pong ball into a small fish bowl. If you did you won a fish. Well $5 in tickets later, Kyrah ends up winning another goldfish. This one she is very proud of and carries it out to the car in its little bag. We set up the bowl and feed it then off to bed we go. The next morning Jonah #2 was not quite dead, but you knew it wasn't going to be long.... which it wasn't.

So yesterday I stopped at the pet store and told them the tragedies we have experienced. They sent me home with a Beta and some chemicals to purify the water. As a result we have Jonah #3 and a happy Kyrah.

So this all started out with a free fish that now has a cost of $21.00. Well it is less work then a puppy.

First Gymnastics Class

Now that Kyrah is officially potty trained (going on 3 weeks - only 1 accident) and she is 3 (or close enough), she is able to start gymnastics class. She calls it "nym-nast-iks". She went for her first class on 11/4 to see how she does and if she would listen to the instructor. She got a new Disney Princess leotard and pink tights for her first class which she loves!.

Here she is all ready to go.

Kyrah in action. She did great in class. She would run up to me a few times and tell me something but then would run back right away and get in line.
She is still a little stiff in some of the moves and backbends, but it will come with time and practice.

My future Olympian!

Happy Halloween - 2010

From the wicked witch and Hansel and Gretel.

Kyrah loved this holiday. She was very upset with me when she came home from daycare on Tuesday and all the halloween decorations were gone. She even makes Daddy tell her a wicked witch story every night before bed. She did great going around to all the houses and would say trick or treat at every house.

Raya liked dressing up. She did not mind putting on her Gretel dress and scarf. Although neither of them cared much about going to people's houses. They rode in the stroller for about 2 blocks then were trying to get out of their seats so Daddy took them home for bath and bed while Kyrah and I finished the subdivision. All in all a great Halloween.

Hansel would not leave his little green hat on, but he was still cute.
